On the left is a style for Growl that I have crafted with just CSS3 and HTML, lovely animated, and with zero images. I hope you like it! To see the preview on the side correctly, you must be running Safari 5. If you have any feedback or questions feel free to email me or mention me on twitter.
Update For Lion
There’s been a few bugs with this style on Lion. Hopefully this update fixes them all. The close button will now stay there when you hover over a notification. Unfortunately, the close button will also remain visible even if you move your mouse from over the notification. Sorry, but it’s the only way I could really fix this bug.1.3 Compatible! This Growl stye does work with 1.3, however if you are experiencing some difficulties with the update, try this. 1) Go to~/Library/Application Support/Growl/Plugins
2) Delete any file that starts with BlackGlass.
3) Quit Growl.
4) Re-install style.
5) Enjoy!
